Psalms~

你好! How are you all?

This isn't gonna be a long blog post today; I just thought I'd share some verses I read last night. I've been reading through the Psalms and it's amazing how, no matter how many times I've read them, there is always new stuff popping out at me. I used to sometimes feel that I couldn't relate to some of them because they are always mentioning "the wicked", and I would always think, "Well, I don't really have any wicked enemies, so does this really apply to me?" Thus, I would skim over them. Well, not anymore. I have recently realized, (though I have known it since childhood, it has become more real as I draw closer to God), that I have a humungticulous (yes, it's a word in my dictionary) wicked enemy, and his name is satan, who "prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour" (1 Peter 5:8). I have begun to read the Psalms with this in mind, and oh the treasures that God is showing me!! When I am being tempted and I can't see Christ through the fog in my soul, I read these verses and am encouraged. I hope you are as well.

"The wicked watches for the righteous
and seeks to put him to death.
The Lord will not abandon him to his power
or let him be condemned when he is brought to trial.
Wait for the Lord and keep His way,
and He will exalt you to inherit the land;
you will look on when the wicked are cut off."
Psalm 37:32-24.

Praying for you, my friends!

To infinity and beyond!
